Must be more than 700mm apart. Optimum distance apart is 1000mm.

 

 

2) What type of coaxial cable should I use?

We use RG59 coaxial cable. (Not Supplied)

 

 

3) What type of cable connectors should I use?

We use Twist-On RG59 coaxial cable connectors. (Not Supplied)

 

 

4) What's the difference between HiTV marine digital receivers and analog mobile receivers? 
HiTV marine digital receivers are several generations ahead of analog mobile receivers. Not only you can watch digital TV (with extra channels not available on analog TV), but you will get the benefit of ghost-free DVD quality images and CD quality sound - even while your vessel is travelling at high speeds (up to 120 km/h).

5)  What are the advantages of Marine Digital TV? 
Marine Digital TV offers DVD quality pictures as well as CD quality audio. With Marine digital TV, you can also receive extra channels for free. Marine Digital TV offers free-to-air channels that are not available on analog TV, such as ABC2, home shopping, finance, weather, electronic program guide, traffic as well as digital radio.

6) What warranty do I get? 
Each HiTV Marine digital TV receiver is backed by a One-Year Manufacturer Warranty covering parts and labour for the machine itself.

 

7) Can I connect the boats' stereo system to HiTV Marine digital TV receiver? 
Yes, to take advantage of the CD quality sound from digital programs, HiTV Marine digital TV receiver has audio outputs that can be connected to the boat's stereo system.

 

8) What If i'm in an area of low reception and can't get reception?

Our marine digital system was designed especially to receive digital signals on the water.

The marine antenna that we supply is generally all that is needed to obtain good picture quality in most metropolitan waterways.

 

You do have the option of purchasing a Marine Digital Booster inline cable that is easily fitted to the system. It increases signal strength and should fix any outstanding issues.
